Camino

Inspired by the subjective way in which each person lives each experience, this collection shows 12 collages that aim to represent different interpretations of our paths in life, literal or symbolic, where the objective is always to reach a state of balance. Camino 1 opens the collection with a more realistic approach where all spectators can feel represented in the faceless older man surrounded by the most natural elements. He admires the horizon like a goal he can only reach by taking on unmarked paths shown through the natural shapes and textures of the rock formations and waves of an open sea before him.
The rest of the collages show different types of paths where we can see that, despite finding ourselves constantly surrounded by joys and challenges, reaching a positive balance and outcome is possible. Since all paths (the way we think or see things) are vulnerable to change, we have to be able to adapt and face the new opportunities we are presented with. This is why the artwork presented in this collection can also adapt to new perspectives by being able to hang as we see here, or upside down.
The only obvious exception to this is Camino 1! One thing is to be open to new experiences and another to throw yourself into the unknown without your feet on the ground.

Inspirada por la subjetividad con la que cada uno vive cada experiencia, esta colección muestra 12 fotomontajes que buscan representar distintas interpretaciones de caminos en la vida, literales o simbólicos, donde el objetivo siempre es encontrar el equilibrio. Camino 1 da inicio a la colección con una imagen más realista con la intención de representar a todos los espectadores a través de una persona sin rostro de avanzada edad rodeado de elementos de naturaleza. Admira el horizonte como una meta a la que solo se puede llegar atravesando caminos no marcados ni limitados por el hombre, caracterizados por las distintas texturas naturales de las rocas y las olas de un mar abierto.
Las demás obras muestran diferentes tipos de caminos donde se busca demostrar que, a pesar de encontrarnos con alegrías y obstáculos en la vida, llegar a un equilibrio positivo es posible.
Como los caminos (nuestra forma de pensar y ver las cosas) son vulnerables al cambio, debemos poder adaptarnos y afrontar a las nuevas posibilidades que se nos presentan. Por ello, las obras también pueden adaptarse a nuevos puntos de vista pudiendo colgar de la manera que aquí se muestra, o al revés.
¡Por supuesto la única excepción a esto es Camino 1! ¡Porque una cosa es estar abierto a cambios, y otra es lanzarse al vacío sin los pies en la tierra!
