SANZO

I have never defined myself as just one thing. I adapt easily to whatever opportunities the universe presents, finding peace in not needing a single label, profession, or form of expression to define me.

My artistic journey actually began with painting, but I found it easier to replicate what I saw than to truly express what I felt inside. I knew I would eventually end up behind a camera, searching for ways to immortalize moments that others might overlook—capturing the unnoticed, the exciting, and, ultimately, finding my creative voice through still images.

My first encounters with photography drew me toward decay—objects left behind, abandoned places with stories hidden in rust and peeling walls. Every outing felt like an adventure, a hunt for forgotten treasures. My fascination with urbex photography has only grown since.

From there, I expanded my horizons into nature photography. At first, everything seemed almost too perfect, too beautiful—but I quickly realized I couldn’t get enough of it. Now, I’m completely hooked, chasing breathtaking landscapes, capturing wildlife in its natural habitat, and even diving with my camera to document the underwater world, a place few get to experience.

And then, photography surprised me again. My background in painting never fully disappeared; instead, it reemerged in abstract photography, collage-style compositions, and a more independent approach. This form of expression took me out of my comfort zone, challenging me to see and create in new ways. It’s where my creativity runs free, wherever inspiration takes it.

Each of my styles reflects a different part of me. My street photography captures how I see the world, my nature photography celebrates the raw beauty we are lucky to live among, and my abstract work allows me to explore and express myself in unexpected ways.

What’s next? Honestly, I have no clue. And I love it that way!
